But jealousy is another..
Prologue
- Spoiler:
Vividly colored green grass was blew by the transparent, chilling wing. The sky was a light blue, the same color as it always would turn out to be. However, fluffy clouds stayed there in the gentle sky. Trees has green leaves hanging down on their branches. Some fell down to the soil that had gray pebbles buried within it and a blanket of green grass covering it. Every footstep you make, you'd hear crumble of broken branch. Or a broken branch being stepped on to crack into half. But the blanket of grass wasn't plain. It has the prettiest flowers in the gentle colors of red, yellow, blue, and white. Bushes were surrounding around like a shield.
My favorite place? The crashing waterfall. The waterfall would go down into the peaceful lake. The water would collapse down into the everlasting beauty of the lake. It was surrounded by reed plants. Butterflies flew around and other types of insects crawled there. A single tree stood by the lake. Squirrels have a habit of crawling up the treee in a swirl.
My best friend, Lost, found this place with me while we were playing hide and seek at the age of 7. Now we're both 12. Lost is younger than me by 3 months. It'll be easy to tell if I told you my birthday. August 8.
Tomorrow, which is Setember 12 in the year of 0767, our vilage starts the acadmy for all of us. It'll be the grand opening of Academy of Uchitlni. I'm excited, but nervous. New people I never met before. Lost and I were hoping to be in the same classes, but Father told me we're not. Disappointing.
Lost tackled me into the lake. My hands went out in front of me, forcing me to land on them first and the side of my face. She sat on my back and hugged me. Her childish smirked was on her face.
"Found you!" She giggled delightfully, happiness was her only mood she was ever on."I'm sorry. Abyss decided to run away, so I wanted to say goodbye to him"
My words were mumbled since I was still on the floor of the lake. In my luck, it wasn't so deep of a lake from the entrance of it. Only a very thin later of water. If I fell in any farther, I could be drowning.
At the start of the lake was a cover of small grey pebbles. That is what my faceis on top of.
"And why is he leaving?" I carefully pushed her off by sitting up. Clothes were soaked.
"He didn't tell me," Lost frowned for the first time. She never frowns, only smiles.
Her short black hair was blowing in the wind as we both fell silent.
After the minute of silence, I decided to break it. "He'll come back. Your brother loves you, very much. He would never leave you behind and just forget about you. Nothing will ever forestall his return." He always said that line. 'Nothing shall foretall my return.' It was his signature line.
"Right. That's true," A sparkle came to her eyes and a small grin. "Thank you, Hearty" She crawled over to me like a newborn would and gave me a hug. I hugged her back.
"We should both go back. I'm still soaked,"I laughed a bit, standing up onto my two feet. I held my hand out to Lost. She grabbed my hand and stood up.
"Ah, yeah. Sorry about that," It's rare to find a time where her words sound serious. This was one of those times.
The two of us went straight home. Our lives were about to change forever. We never would expected such a change to our lives. Better yet, our friendship.
